When it moves across the night sky...

If like me you have gazed up at the sky on a clear night you will no doubt have spotted the occasional moving object; "Satellite" you will have thought, but which one? The Earth is surrounded by man made objects and not all of them continue to serve a purpose, with this app you will be able to identify each of the thousands of visible orbital objects; with this app you will be able to tell the ISS from a discarded rocket motor, a weather satellite from a com sat. All you will need is a warm, dark, clear night; and maybe someone to amaze.

A delightful App with one major flaw. It doesn't know when you have changed location and you can't check that the location is correct so you will be looking for a satellite that isn't there! You have to delete the App and then reinstall it. I only know this because I also have the SkyView App which does show your location and so you can see that the times for say, the ISS are completely different on each App.

A really worthwhile ap to have for interested viewers. The NASA timings especially for the ISS are often behind by a minute or so but compromise is easy. Fabulous ap.
