This is the official app for public transport in Stockholm. Plan your trip, buy mobile tickets and get service updates.
A convenient way to buy tickets for public transport in Stockholm with SL and get live network service updates.
- Buy tickets and pay by card or Swish.
- Plan your journey with realtime information and buy a ticket for that journey.
- Check for service disruptions and view the next departure from a certain stop or station.
- Manage your tickets and get a receipt for your ticket directly to your email inbox.
The app will use GPS to find your position for trip searches from your location.

This update introduces the possibility to handle a lost SL card directly in the app without calling customer service. It also includes improved support for BankID and other smaller bug fixes.

Refuses my MasterCard since latest update
I have been using this app a lot, but my MasterCard stopped working on it. I tried to re-enter it but it always fails after I’ve entered my security pin following verification by MasterCard. Makes this no longer usable unfortunately
Very useful and hassle free
Visiting Stockholm for a few days. The app has been very handy especially because I don’t have to purchase a card that will probably never use again. Used various cards for payment both UK and Canadian and the app accepted them. Only downside is that once you purchase the ticket, it doesn’t let you save it for later
Tickets don’t work at turnstiles
Do not use this app. Tickets bought using this app don’t work on the Stockholm metro turnstiles. After scanning the ticket QR-code then the turnstile will tell you that you need to contact customer service to help you get through. Don’t waste of your time using this app. Only use SL-Access (travel) card. This app should be removed from the App Store until SL fix the problem with the turnstiles.
