Awful to use
What is the deal with the pen writing wherever it is on the screen rather than where the touch contact point is?
Definitely not an intuitive one to use for taking notes or sketches. I tried it with and without an Apple Pencil, but that made no difference! Shall be deleting this app!
No problems - works like a note pad!
There's no surprise on opening the Smart Note as you get a blank sheet with a few places to click - idiot proof! A couple of taps here and there and you soon open a lined page and have the ability to write on it with your finger or stylus. No problem here as the mark is directly where the screen is touched. You can easily change the colour or thickness of the pen and some pens are obviously locked for those who wish to purchase the full app. All pretty straightforward and as one expects nowadays. I've written on several pages now and can see them lined up on the opening page and easily open them. I have also discovered how to delete bits or a whole page, simple and as you'd expect really. My only issue, and reason for losing one star is that it doesn't look like the images shown on the download page on App Store. That shows a ringbound pad with tabs or dividers which look great and the reason I chose this particular app. All you get is a lined page.
Amazing
In my opinion this app really good because you could write or draw what ever you want yet it doesn’t give you any instructions at the start but that’s ok once you give it a couple of taps you can easily get lined paper. You can use a style pen or even your finger to get anything you want to draw or write!!! I highly recommend this app to anyone who likes to draw or write as it is suitable for all ages.
