No longer working on Apple Watch

When it worked on the Apple Watch it was great as I could control the Jacuzzi via the watch when in the tub. Since the latest version of either iOS, WatchOS or the SmartTub app, I’m stuck in a perpetual loop of being told by the watch that I need to login on the phone and then that no user is found.

This is despite me being logged-in on the phone and with an active subscription. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app on both devices and even reset the phone but with no success. It’s a shame as the app now has 50% functionality.

Love the new smart heating feature

I’ve had this app for over a year and have found it really useful to be able to control my Jacuzzi J475. The signal is very stable, which wasn’t the case with my previous tub (the app was WIFI) and meant sometimes connection was rubbish when I needed it

In the last few months there’s been a cool new feature released which is helping monitor/manage energy use really well. It will build the most energy efficient heating schedule for when I want to use it.

All in all a very cool app that I didn’t realise I would find so valuable when I purchased the tub.

Poor

Had the app three years running and it must be six or so months now where the app crashes/freezes. Every time I want to change the jets or heaters, I have to log out and log back in again to do anything. It seems there has t been an update or fix for the fault and I certainly won’t be paying the subscription again!

I notice Jacuzzi responding to reviews, mentioning a product that supposedly works better (which is something they also charge a lot of money for).

The hot tub we have is in the J4 range and cost a fortune for us. We decided to pay more because we thought the product and support would be premium. We were wrong in our assumptions and would not recommend Jacuzzi.

The issue you describe may relate to your spa's connectivity or your location. To address cellular connectivity issues, we have enhanced the app's retry logic. Additionally, our new SmartTub module offers multi-carrier capabilities for cellular connections and the option to connect to your home WiFi network. This new module provides better connectivity, ensuring a more reliable connection with the cloud server, even in the most remote locations.
