SocialPilot: Social Media Tool 4+

Looking at other reviews I feel no one reads these. If they do they 100% hide them from
Their bosses, I like the website and the general feel of the set up but the app is the worst. Pretty sure as I’m now using my mobile more for posting I’ll be switching very soon to a company that gives a c**p about their app and customers. They must loose £1000s in revenue due to this joke of an app.

Not very user friendly. The whole reason I use it is to schedule my business posts for while I'm at the day job; if you select a day&time to post and then change anything (eg: wording, photo) it automatically undoes the scheduling. You can't add emojis, which means I have to come out of the app, go into notes- type what I want to say in there including emojis, copy and then go back into app to paste- what a faff!
It also doesn't consistently post, which means I have to check (which also defeats the point in scheduling!).
You can only add 3 groups/pages etc, otherwise you have to pay. I have Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so as you can imagine it takes a long time to keep on top of them all! I had hoped Socialpilot would help free up my time a bit more, but unfortunately I think it's back to the drawing board 😔

I have been looking for the right solution to manage social media content for both my own business and that of my clients. I finally decided to pay for a Social Pilot subscription after getting on well with the free trial. It’s cheap, but there are some limitations and useful features missing.

Firstly, the mobile app doesn’t seem to recognise recent additions to my camera roll. If I’m writing a post and then decide to add an image, I go on Pixabay or whatever and save the image to my device. I can see the photo in my camera roll on my iPhone, but Social Pilot’s add photo function just doesn’t acknowledge any new photos being available to use. Highly frustrating.

Another great feature would be to have a “use optimal send time” function for every post. Sprout Social has this feature and it’s amazing.

I can only score this app 2/5 right now as the photo issue makes it practically unusable at the moment.
