Solutionist is a simple, yet sophisticated app that allows you to save a formula or a sequence of formulae and create calculation templates. Once created, all you have to do is to enter inputs and get the outputs.

* Create custom multi-step calculation templates (Calcs).
* A calc can contain a sequence of formulae.
* Multiple inputs and outputs for each calc.
* Condition based formula usage: Assign different formulae for a field based on condition.
* Text message in output field: Because a number is not what you always want from a calculator. Eg) You need a BMI calculator to say if you are “healthy” or “overweight”.
* Share your creations via Airdrop, mail or any other file management app installed on your device.
* Folder structured arrangement of calcs for ease of access.

A really smart app
This is what the App Store should be full of - clever, flexible applications that empower users to be more productive!
An 8 minute tutorial video - gulp! Sound onerous. Best 8 minutes spent to orientate yourself on how the app functions, then spend hours unleashing its power. (Needs a typo correction - 'Clac'!)
A few useful things for possible future development:
1. At the very least, an icon for iPad please - though ideally this should be a truly universal app.
2. A cleaner way to edit output formulas - I've found that to make corrections, it's necessary to erase the formula back to the insertion point - it would be much more helpful to highlight elements to replace/correct them or be able to place the insertion point within an existing formula.
3. Would be nice if the application 'understood' percentage values rather than having to formulate them in a 'raw' form - would substantially simplify configuring for casual users.
4. I found I could copy elements, but wasn't able to paste them back in.
5. iCloud support needed.
All in all, a very promising and useful tool. Bravo
