These headphones are genuinely incredible. The noise-cancelling is great, it has a very long battery, and the 360 sound is really accurate. The sound is never low quality, and I would say it actually is higher quality than the other main-stream brands I’ve used in the past. For only £80? This was one of the best purchases of my life. Now, onto the app. The app is easy to navigate, and there equaliser brings out the best in any music! I love how easy it is to make custom equalisers and soundscapes. This brand is EASY 5 stars, 10/10, 100%.

In terms of its functionality this app is excellent, although occasionally I have had problems with the app not connecting to headphones which are both paired and connected to the iPhone/iPad.

The major flaw is really annoying and pretty much stops me using this app. For some reason the app keeps logging me out so then you can’t do anything with it until you log in again. That is annoying, but the thing that multiplies the annoyance is that your password is not auto-filled from the Keychain (or even better the app logs in when you authenticate).

Assuming you haven’t used a simple easy-to-remember password (we none of us do that, do we?), you have to go out of the app, into Settings->Passwords, find the soundcore entry, copy the password, go back into the Soundcore app, paste it into the password field, and then at last you can log in to use the app. Why so much hassle? It is the opposite of user friendly and why I have down-rated what is otherwise a good app - even though it is pretty good I never use it for this reason.

The app in general is great but this is a major security flaw. The password field in the login form is not coded as an actual password field, so if you type your password into it a couple times, your keyboard will start suggesting the password to you in PLAIN TEXT, because it has remembered it as a word that you type frequently into text fields. This is obviously a major problem and totally unacceptable from a professional grade app provided to Soundcore's paying customers. Another side of this is that it means you can't use a password manager with this app, because it doesn't recognise the password field.

I will remove this review if the issue gets resolved because I like everything else about the app. If you're a new user, use Google or Apple to sign up instead of their own registration to avoid this.
