Will I ever be able to speak and understand Spanish
I'm 67 years old, typically English one language only, now living in Spain and I have been depending on my wife to explain everything in English, not really understanding the effort required and need to use her first language is Italian, so I think how the brain works, she probably translates to Italian from Spanish then into English for me. So I now have set my mind to stop being so lazy, and making excuses, I have downloaded my first step to freedom, Spanish dictionary that reminds me every day of a new word, also before I go out for any specific task I can write in English what I need to say, i write it down on my "cheat sheet" and practice my Spanish, the people in Spain are fantastic they will always correct me, hence my Spanish dictionary is now on my IPad and is used very frequently with confidence, however I will give every beginner a warning please be careful not on the translation reading, but on the pronouncing the actual words.

Like the internet version of Collins easy learning Spanish
I have Spanish speaking friends and native ones too. I’ve been learning it on and off for a number of years. This app is fantastic very similar to my Collins grammar book which really simplifies all the tenses and has lots of common verb tables and appendix full of other Spanish verbs.
This is basically that book on my iPhone. It’s particularly useful if I’m listening to dialogue and I don’t know a new word and can be searched in seconds. Also whole sentences when I completely miss the context feed it in whole and you get a perfect English translation. Very handy when you want to say something but are not sure how to form it in Spanish same process in reverse.
I really like the examples given too for every word or verb it’s all input even if you don’t remember it all.
Absolutely love this app
I love this app so much i’ve tried so many other apps but this one has been the most useful. If it was not for this app i don’t think i will pass my GCSE’s. This helps me so much by not only telling me the answer but going into depth by explaining how each word changes.
I love how the app is so easy to and can even quiz me when i don’t need to use the translated. My Spanish vocabulary has expanded so much due to this app and is amazing vocabulary section.
I would honestly recommend this app to anyone especially students taking spanish GCSE or A-Level. It is not only an effective learning tool, it is a fun learning tool, which make learning spanish fun and exciting
