The Standard Life app includes great features which can help you manage your money on the go.

Our App provides the ability to:
- Manage your pension payments: increase, setup, stop & reduce
- Top up your pension
- View recent transactions
- View the value of your plan(s), fund performance and daily fund changes
- Manage your beneficiaries
- Update your retirement date
- Transfer in other pensions
- Change your investments
- Withdraw cash if aged 55 or over
- View charges & discounts on your pension plan

Send and receive secure messages with attachments via the mailbox and there is an option to be notified when you receive a new message.

Getting started
You must be a customer with us to use the App. If you are not registered for online servicing you can do this on the App. Once you are logged in you can choose to set a passcode, fingerprint or facial recognition if your device allows.

Additional information

The Standard Life app is not available for WRAP products and Aberdeen Standard Capital customers.
Some With Profits Policies, along with some of our Bonds and Investment Fund products cannot be viewed.

Transferring other pensions won’t be right for everyone.

Payments and withdrawals
Not all products support payments through the app and you may be prompted to contact us or your employer if you have a workplace pension. Any changes to regular payments will come from the bank account that you have set up with us.

When making payments, topping up or amending a regular payment it’s important to note that investment returns aren't guaranteed. The value of your investment can go down as well as up and may be worth less than you paid in.

Great App for pension

My company pension scheme uses StandardLife and when I opened the app, I was amazed how easy it is to use , view the performance of my pension and see the charges each fund applies. That’s the level of transparency the customer needs especially with so many funds underperforming. I was so impressed that I transferred another pension across!
Keep up the improvements!

Not linked to Website Account

I have given 3 stars only because the app does not actually link to my Standard Life website account, I need different login credentials to access each process, otherwise I would have given the app 5 stars as I find it very easy to navigate and use.
I have contacted Standard Life about this because when trying to access my account via my Desktop PC on their website with my Vaulted Login Credentials I had saved and always used, were not recognised, the only way for me to access it on my Desktop PC via Website was for me to change my password, resulting in having Two different logins for my One Standard Life Account. Hopefully their IT department can sort this Login error between the Two different application. I do find this to be very strange as I do not seem to have this kind of issue with any other application logins like LinkedIn / Twitter / Instagram where I can use same Login credentials regardless of operating system?

Top up payment failed

Added a substantial amount of money to my fund via the app. Money was taken from my account after a successful card transaction but failed to show against the pension account.
Waited a week before chasing with SL to be told they had “no record “ of the transaction but they had flagged to a specialist team.
That team came back to me after another day fretting over the cash whereabouts to tell me they have “an issue “ that some transactions are going astray. Another day passed before the credit finally showed.
Not good for my stress level.
SL were great at sorting the problem but be careful of the app, use your online account it may save your stress level.
