Camera
Game would be better if you was allowed to change the camera angle like the other games in the series
Best horse racing sim there is but hard to get started.
First off the new interface is a big change. Confusing at first if your used to the old game but once you work it out much, much better. Entering a horse in a race is now a single action rather than wading through multiple screens.
The sim has a number of improvements. Horses seem to hold their form better and race tactics are an improvement. Great 2d race visuals and commentary.
There are legendary horses in the barn now but breeding fees are crazy high. This brings me to my other point. It’s a long journey to raise the funds to start a breeding operation and I’m not there yet. I wouldn’t want it too easy but am struggling to get my stable established.
Anyway this game is by far the best release to date and plays great on the tablet. The more I play the more I like it. Probably needs a tutorial for new players though! So it’s a bargain. If you enjoy horse racing games it’s a must!
Fantastic Game, best mobile game of the franchise
I have been playing the starters orders games since starters orders 6 (I know not long but I’m 19 so to me it’s most of my life lol) and these games are an absolute must for anyone that’s even slightly into racing!
It’s so simple to play that even me at 13/14 knew how to learn it, but hard to master as I still haven’t but it’s always great fun!
The mobile games for the SO franchise have always left a bit to be desired and have always been both costly and poor, apart from this one!
This is easily the best £9.99 I’ve spent and for once the mobile game feels like it’s an actual SO game and not some quick nock off! I haven’t been able to stop playing it since it came out!
I 100% recommend the game and the franchise to anyone that likes racing or anyone that likes management games!
