Stone Story RPG 9+

This game is phenomenal to say the least. The story is catching from a dart of the eye, and the effort that it took to make this game made out of SYMBOLS?? This RPG is the one RPG that I have enjoyed playing, and best of all, it’s free! Ads barely appear, and it’s not P2W like lots of other rpg’s. The art style is very appealing, you always know what’s there and what’s not, even when the whole world is made of text and symbols. It’s super easy to catch onto what everything does, and crafting is super simple, they thought of EVERYTHING to make this game amazing, like being able to craft in batches so that you don’t have to break your fingers to craft lots of the same item. Not only that, but the legend quests (spoiler) gives amazingly told quests that just simply ooze out charm. Must-play, enjoyable, and a generally amazing rpg. Good game!

I already like RPGs, but I’ve been staying away from a lot of mobile games, due to the horrific amount of micro-transactions & ads present. I get a game’s gotta make money, but it’s excessive. Stone Story only has a couple, which aren’t rammed down your throat like other games. Not to mention it isn’t needlessly wifi-dependant, making it perfect to play whenever. Furthermore, it’s wildly simplistic art style is perhaps the most refreshing part, as it’s reminiscent of older games, with the level of performance we expect in modern games. Truly the best mobile game I’ve played, & maybe one of the best games I’ve played.

The main game is fantastic, can really see the vision from the dev as I’m told to believe the game took 10 years to develop. The graphic style is amazing and the music is great too, the crafting really adds some much needed depth and makes the game feel whole.

Biggest issue is the post game and community.
First off, FO NOT JOIN THE DISCORD. If you have a differing opinion from anyone about anything subjective they will all dogpile you. The postgame mainly consists of coding, so if your not a fan of coding or don’t wanna give it a go I’d play the main story and leave it there. The whole community uses this coding to try and get the fastest times on certain areas in the game. The main issue is there is only one definite best set up to getting those top times so it leaves very little room for creativity. Unless you mad on coding, don’t bother.

In fact I’d say that’s the games main flaw, as soon as you talk to any part of the community the whole idea of figuring out the fastest time to beat an area is done got you as others have already worked it out… it’s just farming yo get this optimal items and what the point anyway because you’ll have the same set up as everyone else…
