Description
PreSonus® Studio One® Remote is a free iPad® remote control app designed specifically for use with PreSonus Digital Audio Workstation Studio One 6 Artist and Professional on Mac® and Windows® computers. It’s the perfect companion, both as a “second screen” app in a workstation setup or as a flexible mobile remote for recording, mixing and editing when away from the computer.
Studio One Remote is based on the PreSonus software applications framework and utilizes the UCNET protocol for network connectivity and remote control. This is the same technology that powers PreSonus remote control apps such as UC-Surface, as well as the popular multitrack live recording software Capture™ (desktop) and Capture for iPad.

Sorry i know it seems like I’m repeating the same thing everyone else is, but maybe try and have it on a cabled connection at least if it cannot support a wireless connection then work on the wireless connection asap. But having no remote connection at all and it not being supported for S1V4 no matter what os update, is a little annoying.
This App works fine - Just please read the instructions
Despite the claims of previous reviews, this app works fine but you actually need your Presonus devices and/or software connected to your network. Once open, this app will find your copy of Studio One and then you can control various aspects of your mix.
I’m running two copies of Studio One 4. A copy on my main music PC with a Presonus Quantum interface and StudioLive 32 mixer, all linked into my home network via a network switch, which links the mixer and the PC. I have a second ‘Work’ PC with a cut down set of instruments and effects for when inspiration occasionally strikes but again linked to my network.
I can control either of these with this app without any problems. I’ve even just tried controlling both at the same time - completely pointless exercise but you can do this and just switch from one PC to the other using the Home button in the lower right hand corner.
Effortless Improvement
I’m a first time Studio One user. I installed this and was working with it in under five minutes, using Studio One 5.0 I have messed around with other controllers and found them all frustrating To use or not working at all. This is brilliant though and I recommend it.
