Supernova Social Network 4+

No art category??

Seems like it could be a great alternative to the others, and great that it’s doing good in the world. I’m just a bit sad that the makers managed to forget Art as a ‘discover’ category 🤷‍♂️ rather an oversight I think.

Hmm- thank you Jotaro13 🙏 You know, we love art and- we're inclined to agree. We'll take a look at that. Where would the world be without art after all? Pretty darn flat we'd reckon.

UPDATE - helpful responses from developers

Update - I’ve had a few problems with the app, particularly around sign in, and it took me some time to find a way to sort it out but things are going in the right direction. It helps to know that this is still in BETA mode. I’m back in and although it is quite slow to load images and the app sometimes crashes the content is really quite lovely and calming - if that’s what you’re looking for, then it will be right up your street. And the addition of supernova supporting charities (connected to users’ usage) is a lovely idea that attracted me to it in the first place. It was a challenge to find tech support through the website (I found one in their T&Cs) but the developers say they’re going to change that for future users so that’s promising. Things are looking up! 👏 .

Ooh, we're sorry to hear all this Fevvvers. We can imagine it's been frustrating and we are on the case. Yes it's worth you trying to resolve. We're going to resolve and here's what we're doing. 1. You'll be hearing direct from our Founder to assure you of our attention and support and so we can address these bugs directly with you, 2. We'll provide you with your usernames, 3. We are releasing a new version of the app which solves the email issue you mention, 4. We are making constant improvements thanks to more investment. The fact is that while we are indeed a great alternative to all the other social networks, they are much bigger and better funded than us because we are a start up. The product you are using is still a 'Beta' and there will always be bugs in a Beta :) You are one of our first and therefore very precious users. You'll see a lot more variety in the ads soon too. So, yes please stick around because the best is yet to come. And, if when we've made all the improvements you mention, you would like to upgrade your rating that would be very much appreciated, as reviews like these can put folks off even long after the problems they refer to have been solved. Thinking of leaving Twitter for Supernova!

Supernova is an absolutely lovely app, a little buggy at times (crashes/doesn’t show my new posts). However, it’s in beta so I can accept a few bugs here and there.

What does Supernova have that Twitter doesn’t?

- Chronological order! (From what I’ve seen, it’s based on time posted when scrolling the timeline)

- A friendly community that interacts with your posts, both comments and thank yous (likes)

- Each profile has both a timeline and a gallery, perfect for photographers and artists

- No subscriptions! There might be a way to help donate to help improve the app (haven’t found it yet).

- A human moderation system
