I have tried everything to get this app to display in CarPlay. I have a new peageot 5008 and it’s displaying all my other apps except this app. Any help would be appreciated as I’m struggling. The app looks great but I bought it to use in the car via car play so it’s a little white elephant at present and with me buying a premium lifetime license I’m feeling like I’ve wasted my money at the moment? Looking forward to some help.Update…. 17th November 2023 - Although the app now appears on CarPlay when I select the icon in car play. It does nothing at all???? Tried all the obvious. Encouraging that you do listen to your customers and am looking forward to using it once it’s fixed.

I like to give something a really decent chance before writing a review, and I’ve been using Sygic GPS Truck and Caravan for the whole summer season. I am yet to have a journey where the software performs as expected. It is a complete gamble whether the sound will work, often leaving me with no audible directions, It doesn’t recognise more that 50% of the speed cameras on the road, and yes I paid the additional subscription for speed camera warnings, heaven forbid I take a wrong turn as it simply does not recalculate your route, instead you have to either cancel the navigation and start again or find your way back to join the original route. It has directed me to roads which have been closed for months and routinely directs me to a road clearly marked as not suitable for caravans. Sygic is just not fit for purpose. I have an iPhone 16 on the latest software, a modern CarPlay head unit, I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared the cache, downloaded offline maps everything I can think of to make this work and no dice. I am left feeling like I was conned out of my money and will be moving on to something else

This navigation looks like an abandoned project of some company. Maps is full of errors, missing turns on roads that were built decades ago, weight limits are completely wrong, on the map there are weight limits for example 7.5T that do not exist at all, which causes that route planning is one big mess and a local road that can be up to two miles will be planned over 6 miles, because the map has wrong limits. The application is slow, does not recognize closures and takes too long to recalculate the route when you change direction, the “map error” function is in its own way unusable, because the map has non-existent limits in it and you cannot mark them on the map, also turns that the map does not have, you cannot mark in this function because the function is extremely limited. I absolutely do not recommend this application, because it will only do you harm in your professional life as a truck driver and you may be very nervous after every use. Also, this company has non-existent customer service, they advertise a phone number and email on the website, but you never get a hold of them and they do not respond to emails

Still getting to grips with system/features but took a wrong turn whilst following directions and it didn’t reroute me until I was 100yds from road I should have been on! In the interim I drove 12 miles in wrong direction before being able to turn them 12 miles back, fortunately I knew the roads and was just testing the accuracy of the system or I could have been much further away. Has put a BIG question mark over its accuracy until I can test it more. Also when inputting dimensions of my motorhome it doesn’t record them accurately, it just seems to use the nearest generic figure that it has, thankfully making the vehicle longer, higher, wider than it actually is but why have a feature that asks for your measurements and then not use them? To summarise it’s still early days with the Sygic Truck and van navigation system but early indications aren’t that good, you need something that will quickly reroute you if you make a wrong turn! If things improve over use I will revisit my review but for now it’s just a 2* could do much better.
