OpenAI's open-source Whisper model runs entirely on your iPhone, optimized for Apple silicon. A live transcript appears while you talk. No internet required for transcription, and no audio is ever uploaded.
LABELS SPEAKERS AUTOMATICALLY
When the recording finishes, Synopsule diarizes the audio — figuring out who said which line — and assigns colored speaker labels. Rename "Speaker 1" to "Maria" once and it propagates everywhere. A speaker directory tracks people across all your recordings.

• Bring your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Transcripts go directly to the provider you choose.
• Or subscribe to Synopsule Pro and we'll run it through OpenAI for you. Your subscription works across iPhone and Mac.
Either way, Synopsule asks for explicit consent and names the destination before any text leaves your phone. Audio never goes anywhere. You can revoke consent any time in Settings.

When you're done, export to whichever format fits:

• Plain text

Choose what to include: timestamps, speaker labels, grouping by speaker, and whether to attach the AI summary.

• Audio is captured and processed on your iPhone. It is never uploaded.
• Transcripts live in your device's protected storage. Delete any recording whenever you want.
