Description

Do you leak urine when you cough, jump or exert yourself? Research shows that this app is effective. Everything you need for treatment in a smart format.

The Tät® app is intended to treat stress urinary incontinence in women. To enable effective self-treatment, the app contains information and a programme for pelvic floor training including feedback to the user.

Tät® is also used for prevention of urinary incontinence during pregnancy, after childbirth or when pelvic floor muscle training is otherwise recommended.
Tät contains four types of contractions and twelve exercises with increasing levels of intensity and difficulty.
Train for a couple of minutes at a time, three times a day, for three months.
Tät helps you along with clear guidance in the form of graphics, sounds and reminders.
Stay motivated with statistics and feedback that are based on the training goals you set.

You will receive information about the pelvic floor, causes of urinary leakage and lifestyle factors that may affect leakage.
Every section contains links to current research that supports the content.
Using the app is secure, we do not collect any data that can be traced to you. The CE mark means that the app has a demonstrated clinical benefit and fulfils all regulatory safety and performance requirements.

Tät has been developed by doctors with many years of clinical experience.
Several Swedish research trials performed by Umeå university in Sweden have shown that treatment with the app is effective. Women who leaked urine upon exertion and who performed exercises with the help of the app experienced fewer symptoms, reduced leakage and increased quality of life, compared with a group that did not use Tät. Nine out of ten women improved after three months, compared with two out of ten in the control group. Go to www.econtinence.app for detailed results.

Tät is free to use and provides information about the pelvic floor, urinary incontinence and lifestyle habits that can have an impact. You can also try out the four muscle squeezes and do the first exercise in the training programme.

BeccaJDB ,

Started fantastic but now buggy

I loved this app (if you can love something medical and slightly embarrassing!!) I’ve even recommended it to the doctors in my local practice so they can recommend it to patients. However, the statistics are faulty. Days when I’ve completed all three are marked as one or two only and some days show no information at all. It’s a shame.
