Great tool for group sessions.

I do on line group fitness sessions and this takes away the added stress of watching your stop watch and having to reset it after sets.
I set the work and rest times beforehand (which is really simple to do) and just prop my phone up somewhere convenient to see out of my periphery.
Also, the different colours displayed for the work and rest periods are handy and make it easier to keep track of where you are.
Once you’ve set your timings and sets, that is displayed at the bottom so you don’t get confused and know exactly where you are and how much you have left.
Lastly, there is basic music and a voice counting you in etc which I find good when training on my own but turn that off when taking a group so I can play my own music.

Best Tabata timer I’ve used, and I have tried many

This is by far the best Tabata Timer I have used. I use it almost daily to do hip workouts at home around looking after my children. I have tried both 3 and paid versions. I find them either pretty difficult to use in regards to playing music through my phone at the same timeit’s hard to edit them from the set timer that are already programmed into the app and the free ones have a limited usages such as once or twice a week or five times before you pay for the subscription. So for free this is amazing, even if I had to pay for this is probably one of the best ones.

Great app!

I was looking for good workout apps to customise my own workouts and this is the one. It gives you a lot of freedom in customisation for FREE! I love the fact that I can lay pack in multiple workouts into one big workout, I don’t know how to explain it but it basically gives you these options of what the next part of your workout will be: so you have prepare, work, rest, rest between sets, cool down and work & rest. These can be all in the order you want and there’s also a description box where you can basically put in the name of the workout you’ll be doing!
