Description

Taskheat brings a sense of flow to your to-do lists. Break down your projects into small tasks and define their dependencies. You can progress toward your goals by focusing on the steps under your control in a resulting flowchart.

It's a powerful and handy task management app to burn through your tangles of to-dos and projects.

Use Taskheat to:

• Track the relations between your to-dos.
Think of your to-dos as a link in a chain. It's a building block that forms a flow of small or achievable duties.
Each task can have multiple dependencies or can enable or block others.

• Get things done when you're there.
The list of your actual tasks may update depending on your location. Suppose you can perform a specific task in a particular place. In that case, it will appear in your actual list only if you are in that spot.

• Track tasks delegated to third parties.
Suppose there's a responsibility currently out of your control or in the hands of another person. In that case, Taskheat will not include those duties in the list of actual tasks.

• Assign due dates and receive notifications.
Taskheat will notify you when any of your tasks are due soon, so you'll never forget to get things done on time.

• Manage regular duties.
There are many examples of repeating tasks that you need to perform regularly. Define the recurrence rule to reflect that in your agenda.

• Color code and tag your tasks.
Assign meaningful colors to make it easier to scan your workflow for a specific group of duties visually or filter them by tags.

• Print your flowcharts or lists.
Taskheat makes it easy to print your task flow with style. You can also generate PDF files for sharing.

• See your actual tasks in a handy widget.
The minimalistic widget allows you to see your plan at a glance without opening the app.

• Stay productive wherever you go.
Taskheat uses iCloud to synchronize your projects between your Mac, iPhone, or iPad. You can pick up the latest version of your task flow on any device.

You can download and try Taskheat for free for two weeks. After that, you can either purchase a full version or access your data in a read-only mode. It is a single purchase for all devices and NOT a subscription.

Our team continuously improves Taskheat to make it even better. Feel free to reach us at support@eyen.fr and on Twitter (@taskheat). Share your feedback or ask any questions. We are always happy to assist you.

Stay tuned and good luck reaching your accomplishments!

A lot of potential!

I use Apple's Reminders app for tasks and I pay for a calendar app to integrate these tasks along with events into one place. What I'm missing is turning these Reminders tasks into a visual workflow. All Taskheat needs to do for me to be happy is integrate and sync well with Apple's reminders! I see that I can manually 'share' the task to Reminders - this just pops up an option to add the task name to a new reminder, without the metadata (date, time, colour) that I already added. I still purchased the app because I want the developers to keep working on it - it has so much potential.

Please add syncing with Reminders!

Upside-down and back-to-front

I bought this the other day on sale as it looked perfect for a visual thinker like me. I created several flows of tasks, completed one of the sub-tasks straight away and ticked it off. The problem is that ticking the sub-task off ticked EVERYTHING off above it - at every level right to the top!!! If you plan things by taking somethung big an breaking it down continually into smaller and smaller taks (like me), then this isn't the tool for you (currently). Whilst you can invert the arrows as a workaround, it's not really a workaround - it inverts the whole task mindmap and makes it a tree instead of roots. The problem with the tree is that you see minor things first, not the big picture. All this needs to be fixed is a global option to invert the way that ticks work. Then I suspect I'll love it.

Developer Response ,

Dear Sleeveheads,

In Taskheat, the link arrow points to the task that depends on the task the link originates from.

If task "A enables task B," it also can be read as "B depends on A." In other words, "A->B" means that task B depends on task A and can be marked as completed only if task A is marked as completed.

That's why, when you try to mark a dependent task as complete, the application suggests you mark all enabling tasks.

Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience.

No Syncing Problems Makes Taskheat Really Useful!

After spending a couple of hours to get another more famous task management to sync across a Macbook, iPhone and iPad and being charged twice for it (I requested a refund on it.) Then I discovered this little gem of an app, and got to try for free! Upon downloading on to all my devices, everything synced with no problems, proving this to be really useful. This app if I had been charged twice I wouldn't of mind LOL, (It's at half price!)

If I thumb nail pictures on the 'flowcharts and lists' of my artwork projects this would be a perfect app.
