Description

Discover a smarter way to study with Tassomai, the learning and revision app that’s helped 1000s of students get top grades in their GCSEs and other exams.

Tassomai is a quiz-based online learning program for students from the ages of 7 to 16. Using Tassomai regularly builds core subject knowledge and boosts confidence, ensuring students are prepared for exams like GCSEs, 11+, 13+ and SATs.

Tassomai covers up to 10 subjects, depending on the learner’s age. At KS4 the content is exam-board specific and quizzes are curriculum mapped to ensure all of the key material is covered.

Tassomai’s algorithm identifies a learner’s strengths and weaknesses as they answer quizzes and tailors the content accordingly. As well as multiple choice quizzes Tassomai also includes short tutorial videos and links to recommended resources for some subjects. Mai, a built in, AI-powered tutor is available for help when students are stuck or need a mistake explained to them.

Tassomai is trusted by teachers and parents. The app is used by hundreds of schools in England and Wales and by private subscribing families.

**Note that the Tassomai app is free to download and it allows access to your Tassomai account if you are a student who gets Tassomai through your school or if you already have a private subscription. Very good learning program

Tassomai is a very good way to learn outside of school for students like me. They can have problems but are dealt with once it has been mentioned to Tassomai. Parents can also be involved by looking at there child’s stats which could help parents encourage their children more. I am learning a lot with it and is helping my learning at school. I think the app is better as it is easier to access and less complicated to find on a phone or iPad. Tassomai is fantastic and could be very helpful for a lot of people.

The bar for education-related apps is this low

So it’s not 1 star because it stays logged in and doesn’t kick you off every time you change apps unlike edulink.
I really don’t like the way the app is set up. My school switched from Bedrock Vocabulary to this for our daily homework quiz app, and I never thought I’d miss Bedrock, but at least that involved some brain power. You actually learnt stuff. With this you just end up memorising the questions and guessing until you finish the answers. And you have to do so many quizzes to get the daily goals, they’re like 20 points gained per quiz, 80 points total needed per subject, 3 subjects per day.
The questions kind of stay on the screen for a weird amount of time before the next question shows up so it’s just long enough to wonder if it’s glitching but as soon as you think that it moves on. That’s a very small complaint but it does kind of mess with the experience.
There are a couple of good aspects of it though. There are some funny jokes in the answers (the question about states of matter had one of the answers being New York, Texas and Washington) but I don’t know if the app has those questions set or the teachers set them so maybe my teachers were just bored. I also quite like the concept of the tree, but I would much rather it was used with a better format of questions.

One of the BEST Science & English revision tools

As a Y11 who has just finished exams- Tassomai is a life saver! I found it perfect for getting into a routine of easy, short revision (little and often works) but also used it to start English/Science revision sessions and it’s perfect for focusing in on subjects for even more productive work. It hasn’t been my results day yet, but I managed to achieve 9s in all my Sciences and English in my most recent set of mock exams and a lot of those marks for short answers & quotes are a credit to tassomai. I wasn’t totally convinced when we were first prompted to use it but as soon as I was in the routine of it the results soon became clear. I would 100% recommend, even to higher attaining students who maybe think they don’t need to focus on learning/revising the little stuff because it keeps it all ticking over and allows main revision focus to be elsewhere. Thank you Tassomai!
