The QuickSupport app by TeamViewer allows you to get instant IT support for your iPhone or iPad.
In just a few easy steps, QuickSupport enables your trusted remote partner to connect to your device to:

To establish a connection to your device, you need to do the following:

Quick startup guide:

Scammers are using this app
Fair enough this isn’t your fault but I’ve downgraded my review as I can see you are not trying to warn people and I think you have an ethical responsibility to do so. Many people are only getting saved by reviews. That’s not adequate.
The app is good but my review is about your lack of action on this. It’s no good having help sections to go to, something needs to alert people from the outset.
I was contacted today by a person with a Nigerian accent claiming to be from virgin media and trying to access my device using this app. Luckily I realised it was a scam as there were too many red flags, such as my device and Virgin not being on same network. I downloaded the app but didn’t go no further or give access. However, some people will fall for it. I realise this is not the fault of the app developer, but it is a known issue and there’s a moral duty of care to consumers who use this app. Something should be done to warn people when they download it. The company has a responsibility to do that at least.
I’ve seen 02 issue warnings via text when scammers try at access stuff, that saved me. It would be good if you did the same, such as put a pop up or banner or words on a first photo to alert people at the point of installation. I saw nothing to alert me but you could easily implement something when this is a known problem and you have a responsibility to try and do something about the misuse of the app you’ve created.

Used to scam people
I was almost scammed by somebody telling me to use this app this morning claiming they were sorting my internet out luckily after 10 minutes I realised that he was not legit when I questioned him he got very threatening and threatened to empty my bank account be warned people he knew what i had in my account and who i banked with as i did fall for it at first because i had reported internet issues they say they need to run security checks and update all your shopping apps and email and and have you through a fake website showing errors and your internet has been hacked by somebody in the usa when they wanted to do something with my banking app thats when i clicked he was up to something be careful all

Amazing App
This free app is excellent, such a help when assisting family with iPad problems or updates. Being able to see the screen allows me to resolve issues much quicker and communicate with my family on what they are seeing onscreen perfectly. I’ve been waiting for such and app, so very pleased to see it from TeamViewer as I already use their other app to support family using Microsoft windows and Mac devices.
This app is getting negative reviews due to scammers using the technology, which must be very disappointing for TeamViewer.
This is nothing to do with the app or it’s performance, so think before you leave a negative reviews and simply use the logic if an unknown party phones or emails asking you to use this app, simply decline.
