The Anfield Wrap 4+

A must for any Liverpool fan wherever in the world you are based and for however fanatical you are……pre and post match shows, tactical reviews, press conference and team talk updates and of course the award winner Gutter transfer show, the folks at TAW have every Liverpool FC angle covered. Unlike Bants FC in North London, this is considered fan content, with sensible and credible content of other teams, other leagues and other football matters…..as well as irrelevant general chat in AFQ. What is comes across loud and clear is the pride all contributors have in their club and their city. Liverpool FC, the greatest team in the world and living rent free in Pep’s head forever!!!

My job in the RAF has meant I’ve spent many years living in places around the World with nobody to talk to who feel the same as me about LFC. The Anfield Wrap has filled a void for 8 years allowing me to share the highs and lows with like minded fans. Apart from being very funny and emotional, they provide professional analysis on all aspects of the game that is much better than the bland, regurgitated rubbish served up on most TV and and radio shows. I especially like Rob Gutman occasionally reminiscing about players and teams of the 80s when I was a season ticket holder and growing up in Liverpool. Keep up the great work!

As a Liverpool fan I’ve been subscribed to various different fan media platforms and TAW is by far the best in my opinion. Liverpool aside, the stuff on the other teams, leagues and general carry on is brilliant and I don’t think I’ve seen that kind of coverage from any other platform. One of the things TAW always say they try to achieve is to bring to the city and culture of Liverpool to the wider world and as a Scottish Liverpool fan, I certainly believe they do so.

The app itself is also straightforward and easy to use.
And a final side note, the content during lockdown was excellent considering the lack of football.
