The Body Coach offers three auto-renewing subscription options: monthly, quarterly and yearly plans.

Quarterly: £37.99
Monthly: £14.99

The subscription is auto-renewable. This means that it will automatically renew unless you go to your account settings to manage your subscription and turn auto-renew off. If you want to stop your subscription from auto-renewing you should do this at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends. You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in account settings in the App Store after purchase.

The best way to create a sustainable and fun lifestyle around food and exercise

Completely in love with the approach to fitness and food in this app. I was worried about the quantity of food, but I am overwhelmed with how much I’m enjoying the it - never felt stuffed or hungry. It is hard work (we’re doing the advanced plan and were used to 20-25 minute hiits with the odd weight workout but this ups the game quite a bit - but doable and really enjoyable). The recipes are great, and whilst it takes a while to get your head round planning, once you do, it becomes fun and really interesting (we have two kids who eat different to us, so cooking can get a bit chaotic - so my advice, plan each week like a planning ninja!). The app itself is pretty good, but there are some improvements I’d suggest - shopping list is a must, as is allowing previous cycle meals to be added to your planner (it’s great that they’re in the library but you can’t add them to your daily planner - and I’m not giving up my French toast for anyone!). Also, not sure how you would do it, but if you could come up with a way to allow two people to bring their plans together into a planner and recipes…it would save me an awful lot of working out!

Absolutely loving it!

I’ve stuck to the same weight loss programme for years (not mentioning names) and I became bored, irritated and disheartened with it. After a few months of trying other things on the market my Mum told me about the Joe Wicks app. I’m absolutely loving it and I’m only 11 days in. I started my JW journey on the 1st Jan after my doctor telling me I needed to make some lifestyle changes and I’ve exercised almost every day since, if I don’t do an app workout I walk. I follow him on social media and he is so inspiring. The workouts are only 30 minutes long who can’t spare 30 minutes? And if you can’t he has ten minute quick ones. Ill admit ive done one or two workouts in my pyjamas! The recipes haven’t disappointed me so far and I’m full after each meal of the plan made tailored to me! I do sometimes add potatoes or rice to dishes but that’s life! It’s realistic, fun and although he tells us not to weigh until it’s been 28 days I couldn’t help it and I’ve already lost 6 pounds. I feel motivated for the first time in 2 years! My doctor would be proud!

Decent but could be a lot better

Decent app, but a few upgrades could make this so much better and easier to use. The planner is great, but there’s no option to copy days or weeks - I tend to have a 2 week cycle that I repeat so being able to copy this would be ideal and save so much time. It would be great to have a weekly shopping list where all the ingredients you’ll need for the meals you’ve selected are collated, rather than having to go through each days meals to remember what you need. This for me would be a game changer. I also like the idea of being able to type in your own meals where there’s any your not using from the app but broadly know it’s on plan. The other big fix would be to adjust the servings so you know how much your scaling up, for example when batch cooking it would make it loads easier than having to work it out manually. To make it a truly integrated fitness app being able to link it with things like apple health, Fitbit or smart scales would be great, but not a deal breaker. I do like how you can link up all the videos to smart TVs, how the recipes stay on screen when you’re cooking rather than timing out and the general navigation. As it stands and if there were no changes I’d probably use it for the year I got on offer then cancel my subscription.
