The TeamTOMM App 17+

The concept of this app is fantastic, I love being able to track and manage my housework and organisation and the app is easy and simple to use to be able to do that. The idea really is a game changer and I love being able tick boxes to say I’ve done it and sit down in my clean house every day!

My issues are mainly technical, I’m a bit disappointed that when you move a task ‘to tomorrow’ and then complete other tasks, it doesn’t allow you to have completed your day of cleaning. Some days it’s impossible to do everything so it’s a shame what you have been able to do isn’t acknowledged as an achievement.

Also it DRAINS my battery big time if left in the background. So always make sure you close the app fully! In one day I left it open it used 87% of my battery (iPhone 8 new in March so it’s not the battery!). I kept wondering why it was going so low so fast even when I had closed the app and the app has got stuck, so I had to delete and reload. Hopefully an easy fix but a bit annoying considering the price of it. Otherwise - great app.

I like this app and it has helped give me focus and motivation to clean and organise home life. However, starting from scratch I thought 2 hrs per day would be enough (rather than 30 mins for maintenance) but after the first few weeks I was feeling defeated and lost momentum (everything was still a state, reality check hit re amount of clutter preventing cleaning). The thing I found hardest was the bathroom as it isn’t planned as a proper job for weeks and I couldn’t manage the wipe over with the state it was in so just left it and felt rubbish for it. If the app had an easy way to swap Friday jobs that might help as then I could swap bathroom in when needed. Also, when starting from scratch and not being able to finish a room, being able to roll over to the next week would help (rather than the next day when other rooms need doing). I think on reflection I needed a decluttering app and if I find it, this will be a good follow up.

I love this app and do use it a LOT. I like that you can tailor the days to your own tasks but it is a little fiddly if you want to quickly swap a task to another day, would be good if you could somehow allocate to particular days / room.
What I would LOVE is if you could click on an “unfinished” calendar date and it take you straight to that day rather than having to scroll all the way back through all the days.
There are some tasks I think at the time I’ll tag onto another day and try and sweep up “unfinished” stuff as I go through the week (moving to tomorrow doesn’t always work for me) so it would be good to just quickly see what I still need to do.
Generally this app has helped me such a lot in trying to declutter and my house (and I) feel better for it so thank you
