The Wales Coast Path is just one of a few footpaths in the world to follow a nation’s entire coastline.
Make navigating your walk easier by following the Wales Coast Path line on the map. You’ll be able to track your progress, earn rewards and take part in fantastic Augmented Reality experiences along the way.
The app also highlights fascinating information about the history, wildlife, mythology and communities that have shaped the coastal path.

Version 6
We've created an easier way to record your journeys along the Wales Coast Path, that saves battery life and stays accurate to the path.
If the app is accidentally quit, recording can resume when reloaded.
On the new Record Tools Side menu :-
Add / Create routes by marking points along the Wales Coast Path.
Export all recorded journeys to a ZIP file for transfer to a new device or to edit.

I've been walking parts of the coast path for a couple of years, and wanted to get an overall picture of which parts I've completed. Unfortunately, this app doesn't let you import previous walks, even though I have them on the OS app already. I'm not even bothered about recording as I walk (which, even if it works, involves keeping the app onscreen all the time) as I'd prefer to continue using the (far superior) OS app.
Looks like it's back to pen and paper.
Absolutely useless
You’re are not able to track you walking at all - it just stops if not constantly looking at the map or if signal is lost.
No option to draw in you route afterwards, so no possibility for tracking your route.
The maps are not that detailed neither and better off using other apps/maps for this.
Good idea terrible app
Tracking is useless on this app as it stops tracking when it likes and is very inaccurate. Other reviews mention this from over a year ago so the developer obviously doesn’t know how to fix it or can’t be bothered. This could be a good fun app to track travels round the coast path but as it can’t do even basic tracking it’s pointless.
