Tiqets - Museums & Attractions 4+

Florence Cathedral 28th August 2023 at 2.30pm

A party of 4 paid 84 Euros for an hour skip the line tour of the Cathedral. I booked on line and have retained the confirmation email. The tour lasted 30 minutes
I enquired at tour office afterwards but they said that Company was responsible for bookings
We paid for 1 hour not 30 minutes. I would appreciate a response to this review. Thank you

Hugely disappointed

We booked a Colosseum underground tour today, were looking forward to it lots, got the app on our phone and arrived 20 minutes early at the meeting point. No guide turned up, and as we waited and waited, with no contact from anyone from the Tiqets company, it was left for us and another very helpful guide of another tour to contact customer services to try to find out what was happening. We were disappointed to feel the office response was to doubt whether we were at the right place at the right time (which we certainly were!) but while some of the staff endeavoured to find out what was happening and appear supportive, we were told no-one could reschedule our tickets. Final disappointment was to be told ‘go and have a nice lunch while we sort something out for you’, then an hour and a half later no phone call, and still we had to phone them back. Tiqets have refunded us now in full (thank you) and explained that the guide had not turned up and not informed them in time, so we’re grateful for that, but by then it was 3.00, the day was well on and we had to scrabble a reserve plan to rescue what time we had. We will not be booking with Tiqets again, we only have 2 days left in Rome and it’s not acceptable to be left hanging like that when time is so precious. Please, Tiqets, have a procedure in place where tickets can be rebooked quickly if a crisis occurs. Thank you for the refund but it was the highlight experience we have most missed.

SCAM - do not use this company!

I spent over £120 on skip the line tickets and audio guides for my family for the one date in April for the Sistine Chapel. I double checked all the details and the date multiple times and then paid, knowing there was no refund if you change your mind or want to cancel. The tickets arrived for the wrong date - some random day in March - and despite multiple conversations via the Tiqets chat room and several emails, they refused to the change the date (the admin would have cost less than the emails time, plus it was entirely their fault!) Having no written proof, but knowing (because I checked it multiple times) I booked for the right day, I can only think that Tiqets has a set up to send the wrong tickets out and then refuse to change them - what a money earner for them!! They’ll reply saying I booked the wrong day. I didn’t.
