TodayTix - Theatre Tickets 4+

I’m a fair beginner fan of theatre and only started using this app for few months. It’s so far one of the best you can find on Apple Store and a must to have purely if you want to get the best offers/lowest prices for great seats: very easy to navigate and incredibly user friendly. Most of the available shows are listed in a clear and organised way, all you have to do is search through them. The purchase is quick, thank you reserving the seat for 10mins that’s plenty of time to rethink buying it, and the tickets are ready for collection at the box office, no need to print it, just come and show your ID. The only minus for me is lack option to select your seat: I’m sure the system picks the best seat available but often I want to seat a few rows further than in the front seat. Other apps when they have promotion, all discounted seats are highlighted on the seating plan so you know which are lower priced and so can pick the seat for your preference, plus for group booking (2/3+) that could allow us to select seats together or split into pair or singles for the best view possible - I hope TodayTix may add that too, please? Otherwise, is it a fabulous ticketing app with many lotteries and a rush scheme which allows more and more people to enjoy the magic and beauty that theatre offers.

This app is an amazing discovery! Today Tix is really easy to navigate including a detailed summary of each show and a calendar highlighting ticket prices for each night. Clear maps of the different theatres used for certain shows is useful to help decide where you want to sit when choosing your seats to have the best possible view in line with the price guides. The best part are the ‘Rush’ tickets usually priced at £25 is a fantastic discount for last minute ticket deals if you ‘unlock’ the show you want to see by sharing it on social media and checking back with the app at a certain time to see if you can snap up some last minute tickets for an afternoon or evening showing. I have been so lucky in getting to see two brilliant shows such as ‘The King and I’ and ‘ Uncle Vanya’ using the Rush tickets and had great seat choices at a wonderful discount!
Really would recommend this app for all theatre lovers- old and new!

I arrived at the theatre and within a few steps away I received a call with a emergency which led me to no longer be able to see the production. In a hurry I called the theatre and explained also asking to reschedule my tickets if possible they had said yes and sorry to hear this is happened once announcing i purchased though TODAYTIX they had said I have to go though them in order to get the tickets rescheduled. Annoyingly TODAYTIX customer service line was closed till the following day (I had called at 6:55pm) I do believe when half of a company service is after 7pm there should be an emergency help line. Anyway I had tried using there online BOX which was just not helping or solving any problem. After this I called TODAYTIX the following morning explaining what had happen i had no apology no sense of being understandable but was told very rudely nothing we can do we will get in touch with the theatre and get back to you. I followed by asking a time period I would hear back, is there anything I could do got nothing at all from this baring it seeming I was wasting her time. I wouldn't recommend this service as they are not very helpful In unfortunate events unlike when you go directly to the theatre themself.
