Good but buggy - won't always save your workout

Sometimes it will give a summary and save your workout at the end, other times it won't (about 50% of the time). So you lose your workout history, stats, fitness level progression and recording into apple health half the time. Annoying. Especially because it sometimes works. When it doesn’t you just get a spinning white wheel in the middle of the screen with the workout just completed faded into background. Wheel continues forever - left it for 3 hours then had to crash the app manually.

Not sure about update

I loved the TRX app before this update. Loved they had programmes you could follow (and mapped your workouts to a calendar)telling what workout and how many to do each week; loved you got a list of exercises in each workout; loved you could access a demo of each exercise within the routine if you needed to; loved you could go in and see your workout stats; loved it linked in with your Health App; loved it linked up with my iWatch etc. Sure it wasn’t perfect and could be a little glitchy at times but those cons were relatively minor and outweighed by the pros.
This update doesn’t exactly excite me. I’m not a fan of the new programmes- they’re more like collections. And the “For You” section is really irritating- I just feel as though I’m constantly being sold equipment. It would be better if it was exercise routines relevant to your goal (strength, weight loss, flexibility etc).
Perhaps it will grow on me, but I’m not so sure- I’m not seeing any real improvements. Bring the previous version back please.

Now a rip-off

In this world with the need for ever-increasing profits, the consumer gets ripped-off. I enjoyed the simple TRX app with the list of exercises in each workout that you could look at before you started the workout. It was useful for timing exercises and started quickly. Now you have to scroll through workouts that you’ve never seen before and apply filters to try to get to a section you would like. You have to watch a whole workout to see what exercises are in it. I wasted about half an hour today trying to get to something that suits me. All for the princely sum of 20dollars a month. There’s no option to keep the basic app because it obviously wasn’t pleasing the shareholders. I will dig out the DVDs and buy a workout timer and do it myself again for nothing. I’ve had my TRX for at least 10 years but this is really alienating your loyal users. I won’t be paying anything from now on.
