Get your monthly TVPlayer Plus subscription through the app. The price will be shown in the app before you complete the payment. If you are eligible for a Free Trial, you will be charged after your free trial the monthly payment of £6.99 to your iTunes Account. If you have previously had a Free Trial, you will be charged immediately. The subscription will renew every month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your iTunes account will be automatically charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period and you will be charged for one month at a time. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes account settings after purchase.

Not working

Great app until it stopped working on iPad 3 weeks into free trial. Emailed them on 29 June, plenty of emails sent saying they were looking into it. Last email was on 5 July saying they were going to let me know what the IT team said the following day. Have now paid 1st months subscription and have heard nothing even though I have contacted them repeatedly. Will not be renewing, customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

ETA: Contacted as you advised, and guess what, no answer. Judging by all the recent comments is there any point? Clearly no one working there anymore!!!

All things are not equal

So I have been subscribing to this service for some time now, I have it on my EE tv box, my Apple TV, iphone and iPad, now here’s where things are not equal.

I pay for the plus subscription, but on my EE tv I get all channels including the likes of Nat geo wild and the kids channels, but on my iOS devices I don’t and it wants me to pay an extra £9.99 for these channels to view on my iOS devices. Now I am either a plus customer or I am not a plus customer therefore I should get all or none of the Plus channels regardless of device I am using. As for the logging out issue, this has to be the most annoying bug ever. If you have more than one device connected, then if one logs out they all have to be logged out and all logged back in to fix the issue. As for customer services, I didn’t think they had any, I thought the support email was just a junk email address as nobody ever responds to emails.

Now not worth my time

Latest ‘update’ removes yet more channels (DAVE - another free to watch channel on any other media) unless you get a subscription on top of this app has always been really buggy and never worked seamlessly (recently have to restart channel if drop in signal pauses stream). I understand about the commercial aspects of streaming the Freeview channels (as the developer has stated many times before), however, as I can get all of the removed channels through other apps by a couple of button presses then will not be using TVP anymore as now just a poor shadow of its former self. There is a correlation between the apps steadily declining ratings and channel removal! Plenty of other better apps out there.
