This is an incredibly lazy and poor effort for a secrets manager, and is ultimately very disappointing. There are a lot of shortcomings with the product. Custom fields, for example, cannot be concealed. Sure, you can Cmd+Click or right click on them and choose Conceal from the pop-up menu, but all that does is change the typeface. Nothing is concealed at all.As a minimum, the developers need to enable concealing of custom fields. They also need a much more flexible system for defining custom record types and categories, which is completely broken as it currently stands. There appears to be a fundamental problem with the design of the software. Instead of designing a system that, at its heart, allows for custom types and custom fields (or even just a basic set of fields, such as date, text, password, etc.), they have designed a system which has pre-defined record types containing the fields that the developers might think you need, and which cannot be customised. This is plain broken thinking. If, instead, they had assumed that all record types could be edited by the user, and then provided a set of pre-defined types, with field types that could ALL be concealed, then they would have built a system that would work for every user in every case.It might be that they can fix this (and fix it they should). By making all types customisable, and all fields concealable, and thereby making it possible to build records that work for all users, no matter where they are in the world, then this would be 5 star, awesome software. As it is, it barely rates two stars.A real missed opportunity. This could have been the perfect partner to Passwords… but sadly it is not.
