Choose vegetables that harmonise well together. You will find information regarding good/bad neighbour plants for each vegetable.

For your chosen garden composition you get tabular overviews to quickly determine sowing/harvest times, and which interactions exist between vegetables.

As a purchaseable bonus feature, you can visually arrange your vegetable patch with our Patch Plan Editor - with vital information regarding planting distance & good/bad neighbours at your fingertips.
You will also be warned of problematic crop rotations, e.g. if you place two plants with strong soil depletion at two consecutive seasons!

Note regarding the climate zone: The seedtimes and harvesttimes are adjusted to hardiness zones USDA 7-8 (e.g. Atlanta, Seattle or Central Europe). Please adapt accordingly.

Need to be able to add varieties.

Looks like this could be my go-to app. Unfortunately, cannot find anywhere to add vegetable varieties. Us gardeners like to keep a record of such things. We don’t want to use another app in conjunction.

Another small disappointment is the fact that you cannot add past planting categories to the plot manager when you first start using it. Crop rotation is important.

Also, this app is USA centric. Would be nice to have European countries listed for hardiness zones.

Great

Great for my kids who just wanted to arrange their veggies virtually and plan for their raised beds and learn more about what veg goes well. I’m not an avid gardening, but we used this as part of our home education and the kids were really into it.

Mixed Feelings

It’s a handy tool to be able to plan my patch but it’s limited on veggie choice and the planner needs work. The text is so small and sometimes lines up with the vegetable icon so for both reasons can’t be read when zoomed out making planning difficult. The icons should be relevant to the chosen veg. to be able to preview the whole patch easier. I’m frustrated that I paid for it but am enjoying being able to move things around. Also you can’t rotate so I’m just having to overlap bean poles etc.
