Description
iViewer is developed to allow users to monitor locations remotely by providing access to surveillance camera video directly from handheld device.
The re-designed and easy-to-use interface allows users to monitor live video from hundreds of cameras within their fingers. The user may access cameras managed by VAST (central & video management software), VIVOTEK NVR, or make direct connections to individual cameras via IP address or LAN search. The iViewer also allows access to two way audio for camera, PTZ and PiP screen control, fisheye dewarp, snapshot and the capability to playback recorded video from VIVOTEK VAST, NVR or to play from camera's SD card with supported models.

No SSL support
For secure connections to the VAST server the app has to use port 3443- this option is not available in vast 1.11.0.101 under station-network settings- it has been removed. The iviewer manual shows the https port the vast server manual does not!
Poor security ruins app
Finally supports secure connection to VAST server.
This app works just fine and quite simple to use. You have the option of adding individual cameras or a VAST server, the latter of which is highly recommended if you wish to have access to "playback" functionality.
That said, I have to deduct one star for two things I found irritating:
1. No option to set the app to display your video feeds in their original aspect ratio, thus everything is stretched to fit the viewing window. Yuck!
2. When you set it to display snapshots instead of live feeds on the overview grid, for the sake of conserving bandwidth, the manual refresh button doesn't appear to work...
