Description
A Mac app for using Alexa.
Control your home devices, ask general questions, add and remove items to your shopping list, set timers and more. It is an Alexa implementation. On your desktop.
There are some things you should know before getting this app:
1. Not all audio content can be supported. Amazon don't allow third-party apps such as this app to play music, audio books or some daily-news content, and make announcements;
2. The app can listen automatically on launch;
3. If the weather or time are wrong, ensure you've enabled Location access in the Alexa app to the "Voice in a Can" device, and that you have granted Location permissions to the app on your phone;
4. You don't have to say "Alexa" ... just speak your command when the app is listening;
5. You can change the language that you speak and hear responses in, under "Settings". Only languages supported by Alexa are supported. The language should be set automatically.

Seems promising, pleased so far
When you’ve gone too far with home automation and realise that you can’t turn your bedroom lights off without getting out of bed because your supposed quality Sonos One speaker has gone offline AGAIN, taking Alexa with it... this watch can help maintain your sanity and, importantly, warmth 😊 Not great out and about using mobile data or others’ WiFi but this isn’t a surprise. Definitely useful around the home.
I live this app
When I got my Apple Watch I was disappointed to fine I couldn’t use my favorito Alexa short cuts. Now thanks to this app I can switch my lights on and off open my garage door and control my heating just like I do with my Alexa at home. I can use it anywhere and great. I couldn’t work out how to get it to work by saying Alexa to my watch but a quick email response from the developer sorted that straight away the issue was my error. Highly recommend this app.
Super slow app
Where to start, Lovely little app first to have apple watch support but SUPER SLOW! I really wish this app should have been designed by some experienced developers so they can do better work this. Other competitive apps like Reverb and Swift works superfast and 10 times faster response and they are FREE. For a paid app I would like this to be atleast 10 times faster. On this app commands from iphone x take average 20/25 secs to response and commands from apple watch over 30 sec. Very frustrating, wish they can speed this up. I am on BT infinity 150Mbs and still this app is super slow, waste of £1.99 but handy for a bit of show off on apple watch, wish you guys can speed this up in next patch update. Good luck
