Description
Guernsey's Ruettes Tranquilles are a network of quiet lanes and paths which will take you through some of the island’s most scenic and peaceful areas of participating parishes. Priority is given for pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders, and the lanes have a recommended speed limit of 15 mph for motor vehicles.
This mobile application will help you to identify routes effectively so that you can enjoy your experience of walking or cycling the lanes. Significant function is provided offline so that you can use the app on the move without mobile data or an internet connection. GPS identifies where you are on the island. In addition, the app will show you cycle tour routes and all of the locations of the main cycle parking stations. Enjoy Guernsey from a new perspective and take advantage of the natural beauty that the island offers.
Guernsey is the second largest of the Channel Islands. It is 30 miles (48 km) west of Normandy, France.

New app is OK but would be a far more useful tool if cyclists could be reminded to follow the rules of the road, they would get far more respect if they did !!
Cyclist should give way to pedestrians not as the piece on TV this evening where a cyclist expected the pedestrians to give way to them
