Pretty good

I’m enjoying this app and it’s good value for the lifetime membership. The only thing that could make it better would be if you could watch the videos full screen as the letterbox option is so small on an Apple Watch and it’s such a waste of screen space Another thing would be to be able to create your own playlists currently there’s only “movies” or “music” and you aren’t able to create your own.

When it works it’s great

App functionality is hit and miss. A video plays one minute but later ‘An error has occured’. Being able to play music videos or just the audio from the watch speaker is a unique feature. When the bugs are sorted this app will sell well. Happy to pay £5 then, but free version is still a lot of fun.

Update: August '22. The developer (Hugo Mason) has fixed this bug and the app now works flawlessly. The beauty of this app is the ability to play most videos without the annoying ads. How this is achieved is a mystery. If the watch face is briefly covered while a video is playing then you get audio only. Bluetooth this to a speaker and you have a fully functional free music player, for example, with less watch battery drain. Tapping the watch face plays the video full screen and the effect on such a small screen is surprisingly 'watchable'. Get the app now while it is still free.

Was a great app but a massive issue has occurred

Watchtube was a fantastic mini app where you could watch videos, blast music and have a bit of fun. The app was running exceptionally despite the volume of downloads within a short period of time. The app was excellent until early this month where I noticed that very little videos work and the most videos do not work as it would just show you a red replay button that would not disappear. Second of all, after playing one video when you try to play another video the app kicks you out immediately. The developers have done a good job over the past two years of developing this app and I would like to request them to fix this issue that has began from early this month.
