It does what it says it does!

It functions pretty well, it’s easy to find and access the books you’re looking for and the wishlist area is pretty fun. I’d say the user accessibility is well done. However, I think the app would be much more enticing to use if there was an option to sort books into different wishlists and if there was an area you could put books you’ve already bought, that would be helpful because then you won’t have them clog your suggestions and the app can use your previous buys to figure out what you’re most likely to want to see. I’d love to see additions like these to the app.
There’s a little issue when scrolling distances, the app doesn’t seem to support anything close to ‘heavy scrolling’.

You should already be able to use more than one wishlist and move books between them, but I agree it would be useful to see what you've already bought (I'll admit that I have bought the same book twice at least once!).

Edit: Good app going downhill

I used to think this a good app that had much improved. But something has gone awry - it keeps failing to search properly and comes up empty on books I’ve see in the store with
my own eyes. Then when I try and select something or call up an item on my wish list I get endless hanging with eventually a message saying “something went wrong” or “check your internet” when there is nothing whatsoever wrong with my connection and other apps and sites are working fine. I simply can’t use it like this and have turned to other providers.

Previous review:A lot of improvements have come on since I last looked at and ditched this app. It functions almost as well as the main website and allows creation of wish lists, ordering for click and collect etc. I now use this rather than the site and find it perfectly useful.

Simply Love Waterstones

I really enjoy using the Waterstones app. Especially as it tells if what your looking for is in stock at your local store. I also like the fact that you reserve titles in your local store without having to pay straight away. The app is really easy too navigate and browse through different genres. As a real big
book lover I often get lots of Waterstones vouchers brought for me as presents. I really like the fact you can credit them to the app and either use them online or instore. Saves having to carry multiple vouchers around and not always knowing what value is on what card. The best part for me though is the Waterstones plus card. You can just keep on saving and seeing how much you have to spend.
