Description

Manage the work breakdown structure (WBS) in the list and tree diagram. Construct the work package tree and update the estimate; import work items from MS Excel and export the work breakdown structure to PDF, Excel, and image files. Also, we can convert a work breakdown structure to a project plan file in the QuickPlan app.

The WBS is a hierarchical and incremental decomposition of the project into phases, deliverables, and work packages. It is a tree structure that shows a breakdown of the effort required to achieve a goal, such as a program, a project, and a contract.

Mobilinked WBS is THE easy-to-use WBS management app for the iPad. Using natural gestures on a clean interface makes WBS management more convenient, faster, and more efficient than ever before. Visualize and simplify the work breakdown structure in the outline and diagram view to break down work elements and determine labor, material, and total costs for each component. The app automatically adds costs up to the element hierarchy, and supports continuous and mass tracking.

The WBS can be exported to image, Excel, and PDF files AND converted to QuickPlan (https://itunes.apple.com/app/id621375878) as a project plan.

The WBS supports mass entry of work items and import of work items from an MS Excel file.

One understands that having spent time and money to develop an App the developer would like to maximize their returns on investment.

However, breaking up what should be a single App into 3 and even selling them separately on different platforms ( IPad & Iphone) seems like taking it too far and may even considered to be bordering on greed.

Together the three Apps of Goals, WBS and QuickPlan are useful but the should all be one App. Set the goals, break the structure down and the plan them. The goals App by itself is useless. QuickPlan, to a point is okay. But they should all be one and same for all platforms.

Developer Response ,

Thanks the comments.

Talking about money, separated apps are the better choice for the users, because:
- If the user just need to use the app on one device, the use just need pay less
- It seems be convenient for the use to purchase uniform app - (I am wondering about it) as if the users does not need to use the app on different devices, they pay more.
- The price amount is lower than almost all the other project planning Gantt apps, And compare to the Gantt apps with OK quality, the price amount of QuickPlan for iPad and for iPhone is much more lower, although the quality of QuickPlan is the best.
- Better design for different devices according to the screen size. These two apps are similar, but the menu and navigation are optimised for the devices.
- Smaller app download size

Also it's similar for a system compare to multiple apps.

And:
- GoalMaster is not a project management app, GoalMaster is for team performance management (so it's not in the project management pack, it's in the business suite pack)
- WBS WORK is not the same concept of project schedule TASK, most of the time, the work is not the task - it may be a delivery, or may be a high level task, or something else. There is many to many relationship between WBS work and project schedule task, or there is no any relationship.

Compare to any other service with OK quality, our apps' price is much more lower, even if we can combine the together

Please do't hesitate to share more your comments and ideas.
