Really like this app but one big feature missing
I’ve used Weebly for about 2 years now and I think it’s great. I especially love the new app interface, it’s clean and uncluttered and offers everything you want to support your website and business.
HOWEVER, I was browsing other similar apps and I came across Wix. Now I have no intention of switching because I’m very happy where I am but I do occasionally like to scope out the competition. One really interesting sounding feature in the Wix app is Direct messaging with customers.
Wiz offer a seamless way to connect with customers, right in their app, and they also show you how many customers are actually on your website right now. I think Weebly would do good to add a similar function. I’ve tried countless options in the Weebly Store and the best one I’ve found is Tidio Chat but even then it’s not a perfect solution and their app never alerts me to new messages. If Weebly offered their own built in messaging feature similar to Wix it would be a standout feature, if implemented properly.

It works and it doesn't work!
I've been using Weebly for a long time (on and off), and I find it quite frustrating. When I open the app, it asks me to retry or log out, the retry option does not work so I have to log out and then log back in (it's been doing this for some time now). Using the phone app is even more frustrating as sometimes the pages get stuck and you find yourself tapping the ‘done’ button like a mad person.
I give it three stars because well, sometimes it does work. As I said, I've been on and off with it, I've been looking at alternatives and yeah! You pay for what you get really (none of them are free). I use Weebly as a test site thing (I test out what works on my site and what doesn't - like if I should jump on the making an online store or a blog - and that needs work too).
Adds a lot
This integrates with the square app seamlessly. It’s made it possible to have an online business that can go alongside our cafe.
Would highly recommend it if you’re hazing things like izettle etc. If you’re using square already and need an online shop then no need to even think about it. The online shop is fairly easy to set up and there’s an app for it.
Only thing would be if you could have it more functional on the phone version and an option to print labels directly rather than be tied to American postal services that don’t work in the uk. It is just a simple case of copying and pasting over or just handwriting your parcels.
