It’s good.

Yes there are ads, of course. There are ads everywhere now it’s the downfall of modern gaming, but, at least in this game it’s up to you. Also they are useful, of course I’m still testing it out before I pay. I don’t pay at first because I want to see how I’m treated”before” paying. Of course if you are like me and mute your phone and learned to live with the ads it’s not so bad. In short you can pick and choose what ads you want to watch and which ones you don’t. It’s a grind but it’s not a waste of your time. So sit back and relax it’s better then some of the other trash games I’ve wasted my time on :)

Not very good adverts

There are other apps with better ads than this one. The developers have opted for adverts that run for at least 30 seconds; often longer. They’re also very repetitive - I must have seen the slots one 50 times by now (and I’m no more inclined to download it than I was the 1st 49 times). Interestingly, for fleeting moments in between adverts there is actually a shooting game you can play. I didn’t get as long with it as I’d like, but then I suppose this is an advert app, not a game, but if another developer was to latch on to this idea and make an app that was just all game and no adverts, I’d probably be willing to pay for it. Anyway - I dream.

Deleting this app now because I’m tired of having to see the same adverts all the time.

(whilst the adverts are “optional” the game is technically unplayable without watching them. Rather than the adverts conferring “bonuses” (as the devs would have you believe) what they actually do is patch flawed game balancing, where the game has been rendered almost impossible if you elect to skip the adverts).

Dear pilots, in-game ads can give you additional rewards and are not mandatory to watch. You can choose whether to watch ads according to your needs.

Crashes, glitches, awful

I’ve never in all my years played anything with the level of glitches and bugs this game has. It is awful, it should be withdrawn. Every time an ad plays mid game it crashes, or you watch the ad, then it crashes and you lose your progress. Great for the game maker as they must be racking up lots of ad views. It’s getting to the point now where I may uninstall it. Cannot even raise a ticket because that crashes too. Too focused on advertising and not enough focus on the actual game experience. Dreadful, just plain dreadful. I’ve tried to preserve with it up to level 7, which I cannot get past because it crashes all the time. Last time I got right up to the last battle on level 7, needed and extra life, it crashed, then it restarted losing all the progress. My advice, don’t bother. Play the other skyforce or skyforce reloaded, I don’t think they’ve screwed those up, yet….
