I have never left a review for any company before, but after receiving the worst service I’ve ever encountered I decided I needed to let other people know what to expect from Wise. At first I thought the app and service was good. That is until something goes wrong. I made a transfer to my own account in Spain but the money was held for checks for 12 days with the excuse that it may be a sanctioned bank or a fraudulent transaction. Which it is Not. I provided photos of the actual bank, paperwork that showed it was indeed my account. Screenshots of the account and account details and much much more. NO REPLY. Over 10 days I made 4 phone calls to find out what was happening and on 4 occasions I was told by each member of the staff that they would call me back or that the money would be released that day or the day after. NO ONE EVER DID! Eventually after speaking to the FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN the transfer was cancelled. Still no response to calls or emails. The customer service team are unknowledgeable, and without any ability to resolve the simplest of matters. They do not respond to any emails. If you ask to make a complaint they say that’s not possible and refuse to put you through to a senior person. This is against all Financial Services Authority Regulations. Any many of staff can take a complaint and escalate a problem. I warn all of you! If you have the slightest problem, they will not be able to help!

Be sure to get properly familiar with the App and various services on offer. I joined Wise some time back. I have watched it grow and develop in that time. In the beginning, I experienced some considerable frustrations as what they aspired to do, or rather said was on offer, wasn’t quite as functionally efficient or as slick as it professed to be. Nonetheless, I kept the account open but did both business and personal banking elsewhere. Skipping forward a couple of years I returned to Wise to see if it had improved. Wow! I think they have grown massively! Without mentioning names, both big high-street bank names and other fintech self-professed leaders now don’t come close. I think Wise have achieved excellent results. The feature-rich App, services on offer, flexibility, global integration. Well done to them and I wish them every continued success. Now, what they profess to do, they do, and they do it very well. They’re under the same regulatory systems (and constraints) as others, we all have that; but well done Wise for navigating that course so well. I would not hesitate to recommend Wise. Excellent. I hope they can maintain the same service as they grow and face ever new challenges in the world of finance. I am very familiar with other banks and other fintech firms; Wise takes first prize for me. Thank you.

Wise is the best banking service for single and or multi currencies with physical and virtual card. Instant transfers, instant conversion between account currency, and the rest. The transfer fee is relatively low. The only negative that I can say is the currency exchange rate to sell back currency is not good. But you still can get it in a few click and seconds in the wise account or transferred into your bank account. I cannot appraise the virtual card option enough! I was hacked 4 times in the past 2 years after using my other cards for online purchases. Wise has the option for a new virtual card that has lots of extra security features. You can delete it than generate a new one with a complete new set of numbers in a second. You can copy card details, account details from screen in the app then paste the info into an other website. … I highly recommend it! Made my travelling and spending my with card much easier and safer! Oh and my favourite feature is I can have one card for all currencies, I can withdraw in the country and abroad. The card detect the currency and it deduct the transaction from the matching currency account! How good is that?! Brilliant! 🙌
