Lacking features
Firstly, there are few things that this app does that the normal Wolfram Alpha app doesn't. Secondly, it doesn't seem to let you use (cylindrical/spherical) polar coordinates - only Cartesian. This makes it rather useless to me.
Stunning
Stunning is the only word that's applicable for this software. If only I'd had this when I was an undergraduate/postgraduate. It's almost magic - where can I start? OK - let's take a *very* simple example - type in an equation - let's say 5x^2-4x+5=0 and ask it to solve it - of course, it can do it (and with arbitrary precision) but then ask it to explain how it solved it - and it gives you a step-by-step explanation. 3D or 2D plots - surface or contour - no problem. Differentiation - integration - yes, triple integrals - oh, I have fallen in love with this app. Try to 'trick' it by typing in an equation with imaginary roots - of course, no problem. I'm in differentiation heaven --- Tim
bugs
really great content and potential. however , it crashes regularly on my iPad 2 and has a very buggy feel to it overall (very slow, screen may go black for several seconds, crashes, etc.)
really good app though, just hoping this gets fixed.
