Description

The Honeywell X-Series Alarm Scan App allows you to transfer logged Alarm and Fault events as well as the general device status from all enabled X-Series Alarms to your smart device.

Simply download the app to your smart device and activate the data transmission on any X-Series Alarm marked with the Alarm Scan logo by pressing the device button three times. Within seconds, a device report will be generated. You can decide to transfer data from more devices in the premise and combine the device reports into a service report. This service report can be shared by email or saved directly on cloud spaces like OneDrive®.

Only works on old phones so don’t buy Honeywell detectors

I’ve bought 5 of these xmodel carbon monoxide detectors for use across 2 houses with in rooms with boilers, open fires, stoves etc. All was fine with this app for downloading the detection data to see which rooms had trace CO.

But then I upgraded my iPhone 7 to a 12 and the app stopped working. It acts like the microphone does not work (I’ve checked the app has permission to use the mic)

Come on Honeywell, get it fixed.

Does not work

Tried to download chirps from an XC100D at least 5 or 6 times, restated app, reinstalled app. Nothing! One time it said unsuccessful, the rest it just kept saying listening for sounds. Hopeless. Why even bother releasing the app?! Also last update was (at the time) 2 years ago.
