Google Calendar Sync Is Great For Planning Content
One of the best things about Zenkit are the different views you can get a click of a button around your project.
It comes with a mindmap view (which is what sold me), 'spreadsheet view' where you can load an XL file, table and classic Kanban.
Being able to switch between these views helps you spot the edges on projects, in my case content planning.
The recent addition of the complete two-way sync with Google Calendar was a turbo charge for planning the editorial calendars for our content projects.
Being able to add something in Google Calendar and have it show up in Zenkit right away is a simple and powerful time saver.
The mobile app is robust and works off-line as far as I have used it, I have not been on any 10-hour plane rides yet.
Zenkit as a product is delightfully clean, uncluttered, robust and smooth to use.
I'd LOVE a Google Chrome Extension and more mind map features.
It is still in the very early stages so I have high hopes for where the product is going.
Ideal for task management, flexible for all projects
I have Things 3 which I use for anything home related to remind me of stuff, but this app could easily replace it.
I use it at work and it’s perfect for listing stuff to do, those in progress and who I’m waiting on for the next stage and then move to done so I have a record.
It’s extremely flexible and can be tailored to suit how you operate.
All in all an excellent app and free for personal use is an added bonus.
Great app
I tried a few mind map & task management apps, Zenkit is the most easiest and effective one.
It allows you to view your plan in multiple view, so that you can have a clear idea what you need to do next.
Moreover the attachment function allows you to put all related documents in the tasks / projects, so that I don’t have to look around my emails for references.
