MTN MoMo 4+

I just downloaded it and trying to open it it keeps telling me “Oops Dear customer for your security connect with your mobile data and not wifi”
Meanwhile I’m connected on mobile data

Hello MTN MOMO,
Can you consider making repeat MOMO transactions simpler by showing the most recent numbers that a person has used as an options for a user to select from that.

I believe your data will show that people who send MOMO will usually have a set of numbers that they send MOMO to more frequently (what we may term as favorites). Your current app settings is such that the sender must go to select the number from his/her contact list or type in the number each time. I believe this is not user friendly and can contribute to MOMO sending errors.

I want to suggest that if someone has sent MOMO a particular number a more than once, the number be marked as a favorite at your end. From then on, when he gets to the point of having to key in the receivers number, the 5 or so favorites should show, possibly with their names as registered on MOMO at your end. That way the person can just look at it, select from the names & MOMO numbers. If the number is different from the favorite, then they would have to type them in or select from the contact list as is done presently.

Hope this will be considered as it can improve the user friendliness of the app and make life simpler for your clients.

App is fast and works well when it works but most times, it’s request for you to use your mobile data and even after turning off Wi-Fi it does not work.
Fix this and this app would be the most go to app for mobile money transactions and order services
