great content and easy to use, follows the rules and commitments. i m using it for years and never had a security issue so far, Great variety of millions of products! i think the game section or original stuff isn t reliable but you can pass it by. Live help support should be reached easier in my opinion, also i would like to be able to approve when a seller changes the waiting time limit of buyer’s insurance and also a reward when the item is out of stock or other reasons and you have to wait several days to get your money back although it is not buyers mistake.

If I'm critiquing just the app it's perfectly fine I the way it works, however you have to search to find the best deal. Some sellers are shonky, with ridiculous charges for shipping so beware. Also, they'll say for example 24 colours for x price. You place your order and only receive one item rather than 24. That's not the app, it's the seller, but there should be some way of checking these ads. Postage can be a bit hit and miss. If you live in a remote location (eg Greek Island), postage can be slow. You cant submit a dispute beyond a certain time and if your parcel hasn't arrived and you haven't submitted feedback, they will shut it down so that you can't lodge a dispute ever. Tracking is not consistent all the way through, and itll show item is delivered even in cases where it never arrives. It's rare but if you shop a lot you will see it happen on more than one occasion. It's the main reason I rarely shop here anymore. Like I said though, it's a shoppers delight on here, but beware of the vendor sharks.
Refund-Return issues and reliability

I have been customer of AliExpress since 2019. I have purchased a lot of low value goods and no one issue occurred until I purchased a device for my car. Well, the device was not well described, thus was not compatible to my car and I open a dispute, obviously was not my fault and due to that AliExpress suggested me return the product. I did it 3 months ago 😂, guess what ? No one has been confirmed that has received my return which according to my tracking number the parcel received 2 months ago. I have reached out multiple times Ali’s support and then answer is always the same “we push the case into a high tier team (escalated)”. So far, no one has contacted me. To sum up, AliExpress is a good marketplace to purchase low value goods but not for high priced items and in general electronics. To be honest I don’t trust anymore AliExpress even for accessories (low priced products).
Needs better user interface

Many of the proposed improvements never implemented. And the UX become even worse with all these promos and mainly with the stupid games 😡😡😡 I use it for more than 20 years. It is improving but still it needs many improvements to make user life better and easier. In contrary, many changes were for the worst UX ever !!! The “games” included are blocking the user to browse the products ! On the other hand, the “search by image” function should be enabled to accept some keywords for the product or the product category because it gives back stupid results!!! The shopping lists are difficult to access ! And lately, more and more promotions popping up making user’s navigation complicated !!! Many of the navigation links don’t work on the IPad interface blocking the user.
