BetterMe app is also integrated with the Apple Health app, so that you can track your steps inside the actual app as well as log your water and calorie intake. We offer flexible subscription plans, so you can choose what suits you best. Please note that subscriptions automatically renew within 24 hours before the end of the free trial or the current subscription period. Update!After I reached them at their email, they helped me immediately and got me the refund. As an app is really helpful and fun. About the extra charges they explain me that there is an automatic renewal and when you agree with terms you agree with that also. So if you want to try it for a month or less keep in mind before you erase the app to unsubscribe from your account! I am really thankful for your help and the refund! I downloaded the app and pay only one month! After that I erased the app and I found out in sick that your company has charged me twice 100€ and tried one more time but failed! I really can’t believe that because as an app is really cool but the whole issue with these money transfers without permission is outrageous

Okey so basically when I tried to cancel my plan, I got bombarded with offers during cancellation process, that made cancelling almost impossible. But due to how much I did not care I had thought that I actually manage to cancel and forgot about it, until I got charged again that is, which to me was sudden and it made me mad cause I actually never used their app. So then I contact them without stopping for a moment to think if I had actually cancel or what? They responded fairly quickly fulfilling my request and issuing the refund despite my forgetfulness. Least I can do is give 5/5 at least for their support. Didn’t really used the app so that’s as I far as I go.

Unfair charges and subscription traps

UPDATE (March 2026): After escalating the issue and insisting on my consumer rights, the company finally contacted me and issued a full refund. I'm increasing my rating to 3 stars because they resolved it, but be very cautious with their auto-renewal and refund terms!I have been charged twice (€106 in total) for a subscription I never used and never received a notification for its renewal. Even though I haven't even had the app installed on my phone, the support team refuses to refund my money, asking for "workout screenshots" as proof. This is a clear violation of EU consumer rights. Be very careful—they make it easy to sign up but impossible to get a refund for services you never used. Stay away!

Update: So, after almost 20 days and two emails on my behalf, they finally reached out to me to inform me that basically I am either dumb or a liar and that I DID give my consent for these charges! I guess they think the same for all these reviewers here that had pretty much the same issue. So have fun with our stolen money guys! ———- I m outraged! I downloaded this app after a lot of thinking, just to give it a shot. I chose the weekly plan and payed for it last night, at midnight. I just woke up and found an automatic additional billing WITHOUT ANY PERMISSION for a one-on-one coaching program I didn’t choose! This is unacceptable ! I should have read the reviews before downloading this app cause now I see that this happened to others too. I will delete this app from fear that there might be more charges that I am not aware of, and I will not even be using the one week plan I actually payed for. This is called “stealing”!!!!!

And the only way to be charged for it is to confirm it from your side. When you delete the subscription-based app, you need to cancel the subscription separately. Any subscription is connected to your account and not to the app. That is why deleting the app is not equal to subscription cancelation.
