I’ve been using Grindr for years. I’ve seen a lot of things going on in this app. I have seen escorts and drug dealing taking place in the app and yet I saw nobody getting permanently banned for any of those things. I have seen people using fake profiles and pictures of others that had no idea that have been posted in this app… and still they have banned me for no absolutely reason! I have asked multiple times explanation about this issue but their answer is always that they have the right to not show the reason. A lot of times for sure we can violate their terms of service and guidelines but some of us maybe not intentionally. Is very bad in 2024 to not be able to get chances to use an app that is almost the only one that gives the ability to gays to connect with each other. I understand that they want to keep the app safe but I don’t believe that this is the way to do it. By banning permanently a person from somewhere it feels like big time racism and their response to the email when I ask for answers it feels slightly dictatorial since they have the absolute power to ban whoever they like for reasons they don’t explain. For sure the gays should turn back to the old ways of finding each other since sooner or later they will ban everyone.

Grindr in 2024 is inundated with long, unskipable ads, numerous glitches and inaccessible features behind a paywall that are necessary for a good user experience; Taps are now a paid feature, I get message notifications for messages I have already sent, you can barely exchange media with others on the app and the moderators just sleep on really questionable profiles.It's just become a terrible platform. The app didn't use to be like this. Grindr has no excuse delivering such a poor product. Especially when it has a monopoly on gay dating.And people need to realise this. They need to stop giving good ratings to it. Otherwise no improvements will ever be made to revert it back to the way it was.

Okay i’m gonna start by the people on this app and then move on to the actual app. So the men here are absolutely disgusting and have no manners whatsoever, unless you’re in LA or smth ,and i know the developers ain’t responsible for this but i’m just trying to warn y’all . the app itself is really dysfunctional and has an infinite amount of lags and bugs , like every time i try to send a message the messages tab will completely glitch out and start doing its own thing , previous messages disappear and 4/5 times when i try to scroll down it will glitch . please fix this app its soooo bad
