Record sits under the red rec icon, so the record button is obvious. Home Output FX knobs follow the last Output FX you turned on for that track, not the last pad you selected. The knob and the precision ruler snap together at the midpoint.

Stop a loop also stops that loop’s FX, and the tails flush. Transpose uses one voice at center. Semitones is the home knob. On iPad, Save stays put in the Sets sheet. The keyboard only opens when you tap the name. Para EQ: a flat graph looks the same as bypass. Input FX and Output FX get a precision ruler above the knob, with ticks and a next-step highlight. Map a parameter from the small chip under the knob. Drag no longer opens the menu.

Beat Chopper (was BeatScatter): longer grid chops, with Pitch on or off. Pitch starts off. Hold an Input FX or Output FX knob to map it, including Grid and Pattern. Magic Quantize and Straighten now shift only. Pitch stays the same. Undo peels only the last overdub, so earlier layers stay. Type BPM from the metronome digits, with the normal keyboard. Threshold recording: arm a pad, it starts when it hears you. The hit lands on 1. Pick Low, Mid, or High. 1-beat waits for the bar, then records one beat. Kick transients sit at the front, without chopping the thump before the peak. Magic Quantize lines hits to the global grid, independent of loop length.

iPad: after preparing a clip, Share stays open. The take is no longer dismissed and deleted on iOS 17. If export fails, tap Export again. The take is kept. Pick 9:16 or 16:9 before export.
