The best mobile bank ever!
I use revolut since 2015. I created my account when capital controls were introduced in Greece in order to be able to do international transactions back then. I now use it as my everyday card. I always transfer money to my Revolut account and paying everything through Revolut instead of my Greek bank’s cards. The currency exchange is one of the best features especially if you travel a lot. I also find their support really nice and fast. The best part is I can use it on my Apple wallet so I don’t carry a real wallet anymore just my phone. 100% recommended.
P.S. : If you start inviting people to get the 10€ bonus make sure they will complete the process before the deadline of the offer.
Disappointed
Despite I was a few years client and I bought 2 metals cards which were expensive, Revolut decided to close my account without give me an opportunity to discuss it. I am high earner, plus bonuses and com pay credit card, therefore I was using revolut quite a lot but as usual in such cases they think you are laundering money or your earns are suspicious. At some point I got a request to prove my incomes, no probl3m for me but their app gave me the opportunity to upload only 1 source of funds and I had 3 different, I contacted revolut asking to provide me an email and I could sent the 3 sources of funds. The live chat people told me not to worry they have everything.....I didn't provide anything so I was not sure how they had everything. After 2 days they told me they will close my account without explanations, I asked them to contact me and let me to explain but they didn't. This service just got arrogant and careless about their clients because they got big and famous, few years back they were not like that, a bank service can't be upset with their clients just because they are earning more than average......disappointed!

Good App Bad Behavior to Customers
Opened an account with target to use for personal expenses and kids <18 cards plus mainly purchase of crypto. Topped up the account from personal accounts and credit cards with funds coming from salaries from my other banks all from EU. Issued two cards one for me and one for my son. Made various transfers mainly on EU and UK mainly spend to buy p2p crypto and small local purchases.
Bought and withdraw small amount of BTC via the app at high commission too.
Some top up transfers from my InteractiveBrokers account were refused without any reason or explanation.
At some point, after a month of use and transactions of about 25keuro, when tried to top up my account with my other banks credit card the account was frozen for review. Finally after 10 business days waiting and not able to do any transaction they deactivated the account without giving any reason or explanation of what was done wrong and without any warning.
While the App is working fine I would not suggest to trust big amounts with this App/Bank or open business account. They may kick you out whenever they like and will not even explanation why.
Good for small things and suspect only if you are willing to pay high commissions or subscription !
