Working to make avatar loading play nicely with other features of the app, including:
- Change to loading priority - reduce priority for other avatars, maintain priority for your avatar!
- Silhouetted avatars now have a total maximum time of 15s before showing avatar

- Fixed a bug with object loading
- Added a new 25m draw distance option (Menu > Settings > General > Max Draw Distance) - default is 40m
- Improved framerate on lower-end devices
- Rendering resolution now adjusted on the fly to keep things running smoothly. We look at your framerate over the last 10 seconds and automatically lower or raise resolution to maintain at least 20fps (or 80% of your framerate cap, whichever is higher). You might notice a short dip when loading new areas, but it quickly recovers.
- Added a new “unloader framework” that decides which items should be temporarily removed if the system runs low on memory. Instead of deleting them, it safely suspends them so they can return once memory becomes available again.
- A performance index now estimates your device’s power using real-world benchmarks. Default settings—like draw distance (how far you can see) and max avatars (how many avatars are shown) —automatically scale to fit your device’s capabilities.

Camera improvements
First person view:
- You can view the scene from first person view (pinch and zoom)
- When the camera is in first person view you cannot zoom in further but you can rotate the camera
Detached camera + reset:
- You can now swipe with 2 fingers to detach the camera and zoom further
- A ‘Reset’ button is now always visible to reset the camera to its default position behind your avatar
New: Achievements!
- You’ll now be awarded achievement badges as you reach different milestones in our app!
- Streaks & Achievements are enabled by default via a single setting at the bottom of the Streaks & Achievements menu (Menu > Streaks)
- You can view all of your achievements at once via the same menu item

- We now require iOS 13 or newer.
- We fixed rotational movement on attachment bones - again! This will fix some avatars and attachments on avatars.
- We now handle 'pivot' offsets as well as 'pos' offsets when considering when to ignore a deformer - this will fix a few more cases of avatars rendering incorrectly!
- We made some improvements to the v-stick controller - size, position and visibility.
- We added a new water shader along with a new setting "Use New Water" that defaults to enabled.
- We added a new setting so you can choose to enable or disable automatic login.

More avatars render correctly now! We’ve made some significant improvements around animations, avatar shapes & deformers.
- Fixes to the chat bubble icon (shown in bottom right corner of the world scene) - it’s a little larger and should now increment correctly
- We fixed a handful of nasty crash bugs.
- On iOS, we now support in-app purchasing of L$ bundles.
UI improvements:
- Customize your group notice notifications: Go to menu > Settings > Notifications, enable Notifications, enable Group notices and select the groups you want to hear from most.
- When you teleport from the Lobby, you’ll now see the confirmation dialog and proceed with teleporting to the new location (instead of waiting in the Lobby and requiring you to tap ‘Go’).
- Customize max number of avatars to render from menu > Settings > General > World Display section
- It is now possible to return to Lobby without signing out and signing back in - tap menu > Lobby
- Sign out has been moved to menu > [your name] > drop down arrow
- We made improvements to how images are loaded in the Lobby’s Destination Guide
- We improved the layout of the Login screen so that all fields are easy to edit.
- Updated wording in MFA dialog.
