GuyWay is an all-electric ride-hailing service in Georgetown, Guyana. Every car is an electric Tesla.
Book a ride
- Ride now, or schedule a pickup up to 90 days ahead
- See the price before you book
- Choose GuyWay or GuyWay Executive
- Book for someone else, add a stop or change the drop-off in the app
Airport rides
- Rides to and from Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) and Ogle Airport
- Add your flight and GuyWay follows it. If it lands early or late, your pickup moves with it
During your ride
- See your driver's name, photo, car and plate before pickup
- Follow your car live on the map
- Message your driver in the app. If your driver reads another language, your messages can be translated live by an AI service, only if you allow it
- Call your driver through the app when calling is offered on your ride. Neither of you sees the other's number
- Report a message or block the chat from the chat screen
- Give your driver a four-digit pickup PIN on rides from 22:00 to 05:00, or on every ride if you choose
- Share your trip with family or friends
- Hold SOS to alert the GuyWay team. In immediate danger, call 911
Paying
GuyWay is cashless. Pay by card, Apple Pay or PayPal, or use GuyWay Credit. You can top up your credit in the app with the ways shown there, such as MMG, Pix, Alipay or WeChat Pay. Every paid ride has a receipt in the app, and you can email or download the invoice.
GuyWay One
A monthly or annual membership that gives money back as GuyWay credit on completed rides, plus the other benefits listed in the app. The free trial is offered once per person. The membership renews until you cancel.
GuyWay for Business
Join your company's account with a company code or your work email, and bill your business rides to the company.
Where we ride
Georgetown, East Bank Demerara to CJIA, Ogle, East Coast Demerara, and West Demerara to Parika. A ride starts and ends inside this area.
Languages
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Dutch.

When the nearest car is far away, the wait is shown on the quote and we ask before booking.
